Graduated from Boston University in Boston, MA, with a Bachelor of Science in 1993. She worked for several years doing cancer biology research at the University of Pennsylvania before going on to receive a doctorate of Medicine from MCP-Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She completed a four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Duke University in Durham, NC. She subsequently completed a three-year subspecialty fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of South Florida and the H. Lee Moffitt Comprehensive Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. Following fellowship, Dr. Sayer stayed on faculty as a gynecologic oncologist at the University of South Florida until joining Drs. Arango and Kirby in March, 2008. She is board-eligible for both the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as for advanced subspecialty certification in Gynecologic Oncology.

Dr. Sayer's interests include the surgical, chemotherapeutic, and supportive care of women with all gynecologic malignancies as well as radical and complex pelvic surgery. She joins Drs. Arango and Kirby as one of only a handful of gynecologic surgeons in Florida with training in robotically-assisted laparoscopic surgery. During her training at both Duke University and Moffitt Cancer Center, Dr. Sayer was involved in numerous research projects with a focus on the molecular genetic etiology of ovarian cancer development, progression and response to chemotherapy. Dr. Sayer has received several research awards including the American Society of Clinical Oncology Foundation Merit Award and the Helene Harris Memorial Trust Fellowship. She is published in a variety peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, The Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, and the Florida Society of Gynecologic Oncologists.

Graduated from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL, with a Bachelor of Science in 1995. He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, AL and then completed a four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He subsequently completed a three-year subspecialty fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, where he held a dual Clinical Instructor appointment. He is board-eligible for both the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as for advanced subspecialty certification in Gynecologic Oncology.

Dr. Kirby's interests include the surgical management and chemotherapy of all gynecologic malignancies as well as advanced pelvic surgery, with a particular focus on minimally invasive surgery. He joins Dr. Arango as one of only a handful of gynecologic surgeons in Florida with training in robotically assisted laparoscopic surgery. While at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, he was the recipient of multiple teaching and research awards and was a recipient of the National Institute of Health's Ruth L. Kirchstein National Research Service Award. He is widely published in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, The Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, the American Society of Clinical Oncologists, the American Medical Association, and the Florida Society of Gynecologic Oncologists.

Graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in 1986. He received his doctorate of Medicine and subsequently completed a four-year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Florida. He then completed a three-year subspecialty fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. Dr. Arango is a board certified diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology with advanced subspecialty certification in gynecologic oncology. He is a National Cancer Institute (NCI) Clinical Investigator who has had experience coordinating Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG) clinical trials as well as other clinical trials. He has also published and continues to publish several articles in peer-reviewed journals and books on gynecologic oncology.

Dr. Arango is a Fellow of both the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, The Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, The Florida Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, the International Gynecologic Cancer Society, as well as local medical societies.
